Our Journey
How We Started
The Beginning
Shasya Welfare Association is a Section 8 non-profit based in Pune, founded in 2023 by CA Sweekar Patole and registered in July 2025. We work at the intersection of education, mentorship, and community welfare - with one clear focus: giving underprivileged children the guidance and real-world skills that are often missed.
In our early days, alongside this core mission, we also took up child welfare drives, environmental initiatives, food distribution, and festive celebrations - not as our main focus, but as a way to build community and bring like-minded people together.
Our flagship initiative, Young-Minds, moves far beyond superficial activities. Through simulation-based, action-oriented sessions, we equip children with practical education, modern skills, and genuine mentorship - the tools they need for true self-reliance.
This is also where our name comes from - Shasya means "to harvest." We are sowing seeds today, and the harvest will be the children's bright, strong future.
We replaced generic charity with an elite, multidisciplinary task force. What began as a small collective of just 10 volunteers has now grown into a powerful network of 300+ volunteers, bringing unmatched real-world expertise straight to the grassroots. Our ecosystem brings together professionals from law, finance, technology, defence, healthcare, the arts, sports, and entrepreneurship - united by one shared purpose.
Powering this scale is our dedicated team of curriculum designers, mentors, and on-ground volunteers who bring YoungMinds to life - backed by a strong operational core across field operations, public relations, volunteer engagement, secretarial affairs, treasury, and social media management.
Operating with absolute financial compliance, transparency, and a cashless framework, we believe in collaboration over competition - always ready to partner with others to maximize real-world impact.
Beyond structured learning, our bond with the children goes much deeper - they are like siblings to us. We celebrate festivals side by side, sharing warmth, joy, and a true sense of belonging. As a strictly apolitical organization, we welcome diverse individuals and ideas without bias.
This is why we built something entirely different.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Grounded in our core philosophy - "A way of Living, Loving, and Giving" - we measure our ultimate success by the day a child no longer needs our hand to hold, having absorbed the skills, confidence, and love to walk the world entirely on their own, yet carry our values to lift others.
Accountability & Legal Status
We maintain absolute compliance and operational transparency in all our endeavours.
Incorporation and legal documentation are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and made available upon request.
